It’s the love that keeps us together
any day and every kinda weather
its feels smooth to touch
just like genuine leather
When times are catastropic
she’s all that makes me better
I wear her like a sweater
In her hands my heart
has found a shelter
even though I’m scared
the fact that she draws me nearer
afraid that this love will die
like glass it might shatter
I bend down on my knees
and say a prayer
That God Almighty
will keep us together
for it’s the love that keeps us together
It’s this spiritual bond
that makes us greater
